The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) began its Class 10 and 12 board examinations on February 12, 2026 . Over 44,000 students are registered to take the exams. The Class 12 board exams will conclude on March 11, while Class 10 exams will finish on February 28.
Exam Schedule and Timings
The first paper for Class 12 students was Psychology. Class 10 students started their exams with English. Both Class 10 and 12 exams are scheduled from 8:30 AM to 11:45 AM daily.
Exam Centres and Security
A total of 139 examination centres have been established across Rajasthan. The RBSE has implemented strict security measures and increased surveillance to ensure the smooth and transparent conduct of the exams.
Admit Card and Identification Requirements
Students must bring their RBSE Class 10 or 12 admit card and a valid school ID to their assigned examination centre. The admit card can be downloaded from the official RBSE website: rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in . Entry will be denied without these documents.
New Exam Policies Implemented
Following a decision by Rajasthan Education Minister Madan Dilawar, the RBSE will now conduct Class 10 and 12 board exams twice a year. This change will be effective from the next academic session (2026-27). Regular and supplementary students will have the opportunity to improve their scores in up to three subjects. The first exam session is compulsory, while the second is optional.
Revised Exam Pattern
The RBSE has also updated the exam pattern for Class 10 and 12. For Class 10, question papers will be for 80 marks. In Class 12, major subjects will also have 80-mark question papers. The weightage for long-form answers in the examinations has been increased.
