Rajasthan NEET PG 2025: MD, MS Fees Standardized in Private Colleges

Rajasthan’s Fee Regulatory Committee (FRC) has standardized tuition and other charges for Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Surgery (MS) courses. This uniform fee structure applies to all private medical colleges and private medical universities across the state. The new rules bring clarity and control to medical education costs for NEET PG 2025 candidates.

New Fee Structure Details

Tuition fees for MD and MS programs are now fixed across different phases of study. Pre-clinical courses will cost Rs 2 lakh . Para-clinical courses are set at Rs 6 lakh . Clinical courses have a tuition fee of Rs 32.5 lakh . These rates apply equally to both government and management quota categories.

In addition to tuition, students must pay recurring charges totaling Rs 35,000 . This amount covers admission, examination, and library fees. A one-time registration fee of Rs 10,000 is also mandated. These additional costs contribute to the initial financial outlay for students.

At the time of admission, the total fees payable are specific to the course phase. For pre-clinical courses, students will pay Rs 2.45 lakh . Para-clinical course admissions require Rs 6.45 lakh . Clinical course admissions will cost Rs 32.95 lakh . These figures combine tuition, initial recurring, and registration charges.

Hostel accommodation fees have also been standardized. A single room per course will cost Rs 3.5 lakh . Double sharing accommodations are set at Rs 2 lakh per course. For a 1BHK option, the charge is Rs 4 lakh per course. These fees ensure consistent pricing for student housing.

Enforcement and Penalties

The Rajasthan government directs all private medical colleges to adhere to the new fee structure. This directive reinforces the FRC’s decision. Colleges found charging fees above the prescribed limits will face consequences.

Institutes overcharging students must refund the excess amount. This refund will include an additional 12% annual interest . This measure protects students from unauthorized fees and provides financial compensation.

Non-compliance carries severe penalties. Private colleges failing to follow the approved fee structure may face withdrawal of their affiliation. The government can also recover excess fees from institutional assets. Other penal measures may apply, ensuring strict adherence to the new regulations.

Impact on NEET PG 2025 Counselling

For colleges awaiting final fee decisions, the FRC has tentatively applied this same standardized structure. This interim application is subject to final approval by the committee. It ensures consistency even for institutes with pending reviews.

The Rajasthan NEET PG counselling 2025 is currently underway. Candidates must submit their application forms for Round 1 counselling by 5 PM on November 12 . Applications are accepted through the official website,rajpgneet2025.in. Candidates must meet this deadline for Round 1 counselling.
