The Punjab school education department recently organized a large-scale parent-teacher meeting (PTM) and parents’ workshop. This statewide initiative involved over 23 lakh parents across government schools. The program also saw the participation of more than 40,000 teachers , ensuring representation from at least one educator from each government school throughout Punjab.

State Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains emphasized the government’s rationale behind the initiative.
