Punjab NEET PG 2025 Round 2 Counselling Opens December 10

Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) announced the Punjab NEET PG 2025 Round 2 counselling schedule. Applications open on December 10 via the official website, bfuhs.ac.in. The registration deadline for candidates is December 11 .

This counselling round facilitates admissions to postgraduate medical programs. These include MD, MS, PG Diploma, DNB, PG Diploma in Sports Medicine, and six-month Ultrasonography training courses. Programs are offered at state medical colleges across Punjab.

All candidates applying for private medical colleges must deposit Rs 2 lakh, regardless of their category.

Eligibility Criteria for Round 2

Candidates must meet one of five specific categories to be eligible for Punjab NEET PG 2025 Round 2 counselling:

  • Category 1: Candidates who did not receive any seat allotment during Round 1.
  • Category 2: Registered candidates whose Round 1 seat allotment was cancelled during document verification. This includes those whose category changed from reserved to unreserved or PwD status, provided they remain eligible with their updated category.
  • Category 3: Candidates who reported to and joined an allotted institute in Round 1 and submitted a willingness for upgradation in Round 2.
  • Category 4: Candidates who utilized the free exit option during Round 1. These candidates can log in again using their previously registered credentials.
  • Category 5: Candidates who did not register in Round 1. These individuals can complete a fresh registration and participate directly in Round 2.

Candidates who joined an allotted seat in Round 1 are permitted to surrender their seat with a free exit until December 13, 2025, 5:00 PM .
