Punjab NEET PG 2025 Counselling: Choice Filling Ends Nov 10

The Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) has initiated online choice filling for Punjab NEET PG 2025 counselling Round 1. Candidates seeking admission to MD, MS, and DNB postgraduate medical courses can submit their preferences. The deadline to complete choice filling and locking is November 10, 2024 . All interested candidates must visit the official website, bfuhs.ac.in, to participate in this round.

BFUHS released the official merit list for Round 1 of counselling. A total of 1,312 candidates have been declared eligible. These candidates underwent document verification processes prior to their inclusion on the merit list. Only eligible candidates can proceed with the choice filling process.

The published merit list provides essential details for each candidate. It includes the candidate’s registration number and roll number. Personal information such as name and category is also listed. The merit list specifies the percentage of incentive and the state-specific percentile achieved by each candidate. Candidates must adhere to the following schedule for Round 1 of the Punjab NEET PG 2025 counselling:

  • Choice Filling and Locking: Candidates must submit their college and course preferences by November 10, 2024 .
  • Seat Allotment Results: The results for Round 1 seat allocation will be declared on November 14, 2024 .
  • Reporting to Allotted Colleges: Candidates who receive a seat must report to their assigned college between November 17 and November 20, 2024 . This reporting period is mandatory for confirming admission.

Seat Information

The Punjab NEET PG 2025 counselling process is designed to fill a total of 719 seats. These seats are available for various MD (Doctor of Medicine) and MS (Master of Surgery) programs. These postgraduate courses are offered across medical colleges affiliated with BFUHS in Punjab. The counselling aims to allocate these seats based on candidate merit and preferences.

Counselling Fees

A non-refundable counselling fee is required from all participating candidates. The fee structure varies based on the candidate’s category:

  • General Category: The counselling fee is Rs 5,900 .
  • Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC): The counselling fee for these categories is Rs 2,950 .

Candidates must pay the applicable fee online as part of their application submission. Failure to pay the fee will result in exclusion from the counselling process.
