New Essay Compilation Released

During the program, the Prime Minister will release an Essay Compilation. This compilation features selected essays authored by young participants. These essays address India’s developmental priorities. They also explore the nation’s long-term nation-building goals.

Purpose and Alignment of the Dialogue

The Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue functions as a national platform. It facilitates structured engagement between India’s youth and its national leadership. The dialogue aligns with a call made by the Prime Minister on Independence Day. This call aimed to engage 100,000 youth in politics without political affiliations. The dialogue provides a national platform for these young individuals to turn their ‘Viksit Bharat’ (Developed India) ideas into reality. The PMO articulated this alignment.

Program Duration and Extensive Reach

The dialogue program runs from January 9 to January 12 . Throughout its various levels, the event has seen substantial participation. Over 50 lakh (5 million) youth across the country have engaged in the dialogue. This widespread involvement underscores the initiative’s national impact.

Rigorous Selection Process for Leaders

The young leaders converging at the national-level championship underwent a rigorous selection process. This merit-based process involved three distinct stages. The first stage comprised a nationwide digital quiz. Following this, participants moved to an essay challenge. The final stage involved state-level vision presentations.

Key Enhancements in the Second Edition

This is the second edition of the dialogue. It builds upon the inaugural edition’s success with several new additions. These include the introduction of ‘Design for Bharat’. Another enhancement is ‘Tech for Viksit Bharat – Hack for a Social Cause’. The current edition also features expanded thematic engagements. Notably, international participation has been introduced for the first time. These new features aim to strengthen the dialogue’s scope and maximize its impact on national development efforts.
