PATNA, Bihar – Patna University has rescheduled the Masters of Education Entrance Test (MEET) counselling for its Master of Education (M.Ed) program. Originally set for October 4, the first round of counselling will now take place on October 9 and 10, 2025 . This postponement follows the recent release of the first merit list for M.Ed admissions.
Candidates who qualified on the first merit list are advised to note the updated dates. Counselling and enrollment will occur at the university’s concerned department or institute. It will run from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on both designated days.

Required Documents for Counselling
All selected applicants must bring specific documents to the counselling center for verification. Failure to present the required documents may result in the cancellation of their admission claim. Candidates must carry:
- Allotment letter
- Payment slip
- Application form
- Four passport-size photographs
- All original certificates
- Photocopies of all original certificates
Enrollment Process and Deadlines
Selected candidates must complete their enrollment within the stipulated date and time. Claims will be automatically considered cancelled if candidates do not enroll during this period. After validating a candidate’s enrollment, the respective Head of Department (HOD) or Director must immediately issue a “provisionally admitted” receipt.
Furthermore, all Heads of Departments and Directors are required to submit a daily report on completed validations to Professor Rajneesh Kumar. Professor Kumar serves as the enrollment in-charge and is based in the Dean’s office.
