Panjab University (PU) has revised the dates for the Panjab University Tourism and Hospitality Aptitude Test (PUTHAT) 2026. The entrance exam will take place on May 15 . The deadline to apply online is May 4 .
PUTHAT 2026 is the admission test for the four-year Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT) and Bachelor of Tourism and Travel Management (BTTM) courses. Students must apply through the official website, puchd.ac.in.
Application Process and Fees
Candidates must complete the application process online. The final date for fee submission is May 4 . Uploading of photographs and signatures is required by May 6 .
The application fee for the General category is Rs 2,850. Other categories pay Rs 1,425. A late fee of Rs 500 applies for applications submitted by May 13 .
Exam Structure
The PUTHAT 2026 entrance exam consists of 100 questions. Each question carries one mark. Candidates receive 90 minutes to complete the test.
The marking scheme includes negative marking. For every incorrect answer, 25% of the allotted mark will be deducted.

Admit Card Information
Admit cards will be available for download from May 12 . Candidates who complete their application by paying the late fee on May 13 will receive their admit cards manually from the CET-Cell on the same day.
