Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Monday approved significant stipend increases for post-graduation students and house surgeons in government Ayurvedic and Homoeopathic colleges across the state. The hike raises stipends by up to 67 percent for various student groups. The Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) confirmed the changes in a recent release.
Increased Stipends for PG Students
Post-graduation students enrolled in government Ayurvedic and Homoeopathic colleges will receive higher stipends starting January 1, 2026 . The increases vary based on the academic year of study.
