Authorities arrested the principal of a Bolagarh college. This followed a complaint lodged by the victim’s father. The father reported his daughter received indecent text and voice messages from the principal starting November 22 . The lecturer told her father she would leave her job due to the ongoing harassment. Her father then filed a First Information Report (FIR) with the police.

A local court rejected the principal’s request for bail. A police officer confirmed the principal was sent to judicial custody.
