Class 12 board examinations for the Odisha board commenced on Wednesday. 4.01 lakh students are participating in the exams conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha. The examinations are taking place across 1,364 centres statewide.
Exam Details and Schedule
The exams began with Science papers. Arts and Commerce stream exams start on Friday. The final examinations will conclude on March 28 .
Student Enrollment Breakdown
A total of 4.01 lakh students are registered for the exams. This includes 2.56 lakh in the Arts stream, 1.14 lakh in Science, and 24,621 in Commerce. Additionally, 5,932 students are taking vocational studies exams.
The daily examination schedule runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Security and Monitoring Measures
The CHSE has implemented extensive security measures. All examination centres are under live streaming . Twenty-one question paper hubs are monitored using AI technology .
Special squads are conducting surprise inspections. These teams aim to prevent malpractices during the exams. The practical examinations for Class 12 were held earlier, from January 2 to January 15.

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi wished students success. He encouraged them to approach the exams without fear or stress. He advised patience for optimal performance.
