NEET UG 2025: JKBOPEE Announces Stray Counselling for MBBS/BDS Seats

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) will conduct a physical stray round counselling on December 22 . This session aims to fill vacant MBBS, BDS, Diploma in Dental Mechanics (DDM), and Diploma in Dental Hygiene (DDH) seats for the 2025 academic year. The counselling will take place at JKBOPEE offices in Jammu and Srinagar.

This stray round addresses seats unfilled in previous counselling rounds. It also includes seats surrendered by various colleges. Candidates must report between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM for attendance and registration on the counselling day.

Eligibility Criteria

All registered and eligible NEET UG 2025 candidates can participate. This includes candidates from reserved categories, subject to specific conditions. However, not all candidates are eligible. JKBOPEE has outlined clear restrictions:

  • Candidates who have already joined any allotted MBBS or BDS seat in previous rounds are not eligible.

Counselling Fee

A counselling fee applies to new participants. This fee must be paid on-site:

  • Candidates appearing for counselling for the first time must pay Rs 1,500 .
  • Payment will be accepted through POS machines available at JKBOPEE offices.
  • Candidates who have already paid the counselling fee in earlier rounds are exempt from paying again.

Authorised Representation

JKBOPEE allows candidates unable to attend in person to appoint a representative. This representative must be a close blood relative. Specific conditions apply:

  • The representative must submit a prescribed authorisation format.
  • Identity documents for both the candidate and the representative are required.
