NEET UG 2025 Counselling: 1,129 Seats Allotted, Report by Nov 20

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) announced that 1,129 candidates secured MBBS and BDS seats. These allotments came during the stray vacancy round of the National Eligibility Entrance Test – Undergraduate (NEET UG) Counselling 2025. Results for this final counselling phase are now accessible on the official MCC website,mcc.nic.in.

Candidates who participated can view their individual seat allotment status. The result PDF provides details including candidate name, NEET UG 2025 rank, and the allotted medical or dental college and course. This stray vacancy round aimed to fill remaining seats after earlier counselling stages.

Reporting Deadline and Grievance Process

All candidates provisionally allotted a seat must report to their respective institutes by November 20, 2025 . This deadline is critical for securing the allocated position. Failure to report typically results in forfeiture of the seat.

MCC previously set a deadline for addressing discrepancies. Candidates could report issues with the provisional result by November 15, 2025, at 12:00 PM . Grievances were submitted via email tomccresultquery@gmail.com. After this time, provisional results were considered final.

Counselling Regulations

MCC implements specific rules for the counselling process. A key regulation states that applicants failing to join an allotted seat will forfeit their security deposit. This rule aims to prevent candidates from blocking seats they do not intend to occupy.

For earlier rounds, MCC also clarified re-registration. Candidates registering for the first time in the second round, but not receiving an allotment, could participate in subsequent rounds without re-registering. These rules ensure a structured admission cycle.

Successful candidates require both original documents and attested photocopies for college reporting. Institutions verify these during admission. Key documents include:
