NEET PG 2025: Tamil Nadu NRI MD Fees Reach Rs 91 Lakh

Chennai, Tamil Nadu – NRI (Non-Resident Indian) students pursuing MD or MS degrees in Tamil Nadu private medical colleges face total costs up to Rs 91 lakh for the three-year program. This figure includes tuition, development fees, and other mandatory charges at 10 private medical colleges. The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DME&R) selection committee released the revised fee structure for 26 private and self-financing medical colleges, alongside the NEET PG round 2 provisional seat allotment results for 2025.

High Costs for NRI Quota Seats

Ten private medical colleges in Tamil Nadu have set the highest NRI quota tuition fees at Rs 29 lakh per annum for clinical MD and MS courses. Non-clinical courses under this quota cost Rs 19 lakh per annum . For a three-year clinical program, the tuition alone totals Rs 87-88 lakh. Adding development fees and other mandatory charges brings the full three-year cost to approximately Rs 90-91 lakh .
