NEET PG 2025 Stray Vacancy Round: GMCH Chandigarh Admissions Open

GMCH Chandigarh has opened applications for the NEET PG 2025 stray vacancy round. The Government Medical College and Hospital is admitting students to MD and MS courses for the 2025 academic session. This round fills seats remaining after the third state quota counselling.

Application Period

Online applications are accepted from February 17 to February 19 . The portal closes at 4 PM on February 19. Interested candidates must apply on gmch.gov.in.

Key Dates and Deadlines

A list of candidates with incomplete documents will be released on February 20 . Applicants can submit missing documents online on February 21 .

The provisional list of eligible candidates and available seats will be published on February 22 . Candidates will then fill and lock their choices on the same day.

The final results and seat allotment will be announced on February 23 . Selected candidates must report to their allotted institute by the specified deadline.

Eligibility Restrictions

Candidates who have already secured and joined a seat through AIQ or any state counselling are ineligible. This includes those admitted through private or deemed quota seats.

  • Recent passport-size photograph
  • Matriculation certificate (for date of birth proof)
  • MBBS final part-2 professional examination marksheets
  • Internship completion certificate
  • NMC or state medical council registration certificate
  • NEET PG 2025 scorecard
  • UT Chandigarh pool eligibility certificate (if applicable)
  • Notarised affidavit regarding non-residence claims (if applicable)
  • SC or OBC certificate from UT Chandigarh (if applicable)
  • PwBD certificate from an NMC-notified centre (if applicable)
  • OCI card copy (if applicable)
  • No Objection Certificate from employer (if employed)
  • Character and conduct certificate from the last attended institution
  • Migration certificate (if available)
  • Any other required supporting document
