This announcement covers remaining vacant seats for Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) and Doctor of Medicine (MD) admissions. Candidates can access their results on the official MCC website: mcc.nic.in.
Students who received seats in Round 3 must report to their assigned medical colleges for admission completion. This reporting period runs from February 4 to February 11 .
NEET PG Counselling Schedule Changes
The NEET PG counselling schedule faced several revisions. These changes stemmed from seat additions, withdrawals, and ongoing legal cases. The MCC stated the latest schedule accounts for a Supreme Court order in SLP (C) No. 3280 of 2026. This case involved Asad Mueed & Ors versus Jamia Hamdard Deemed to be University & Ors.
The Supreme Court approved the addition of 49 PG medical seats to the current NEET counselling process. This decision impacts the number of available spots for postgraduate medical studies.
Cut-off Percentile Reduction
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare previously approved a significant reduction in the NEET PG cut-off percentile. The cut-off was lowered to 0 percentile . This adjustment, along with a cut-off mark of -40, aims to fill approximately 18,000 vacant seats. The revised cut-off applies to Round 3 admissions for MD and MS programs.
