The registration fee is Rs 1,000 for General and EWS (Economically Weaker Section) candidates. SC (Scheduled Caste), ST (Scheduled Tribe), OBC (Other Backward Class), and PwD (Persons with Disabilities) candidates must pay Rs 500 .

All candidates proceeding to Round 2, including those previously registered in Round 1, must submit a new set of choices for their preferred colleges and courses. Candidates who opted to resign from their Round 1 seat or did not report to their allotted college are not required to complete a fresh registration for Round 2.

  • In Round 3, any remaining seats from SC, EWS, NRI (Non-Resident Indian), Jain minority, and Muslim minority categories will convert to UR (Unreserved) category seats.

Key Guidelines for Round 2 All India Quota

The Medical Counselling Committee has issued the following essential guidelines for candidates participating in the All India Quota (AIQ) seats in NEET PG 2025 Round 2:

  • If a candidate is allotted a new seat or receives an upgrade in Round 2, they must resign from their previously allotted Round 1 seat. They must then join the college assigned in the latest Round 2 allotment.
  • Candidates who register for the first time in Round 2 and do not secure any seat will retain eligibility. They can participate in the subsequent counselling rounds without needing to register again.
  • Candidates whose seats are upgraded in Round 2 will forfeit their claim to the seat initially allotted in Round 1.
  • Candidates who receive their first seat allotment in Round 2 have the option to seek further upgradation in later rounds. However, they are required to physically report and complete admission formalities at their current Round 2 allotted college.
