Candidates can submit their course and college preferences on the official website, mcc.nic.in. The MCC will announce Round 1 allotment results on November 20 .
Key Dates for NEET PG 2025 Counselling
The window for choice filling and locking is open until November 18 . Candidates allotted seats in Round 1 must report to their respective colleges between November 21 and November 27 to confirm admission. Verification of joined candidates by the MCC will take place from November 28 to November 30 .
Seat Matrix Updates
The MCC recently removed 73 postgraduate seats from the NEET PG 2025 seat matrix. This reduction impacts multiple states:
- Gujarat: 39 seats removed
- Jammu-Kashmir: 12 seats removed
- Uttar Pradesh: 9 seats removed
- Chhattisgarh: 7 seats removed
- Telangana: 4 seats removed
- West Bengal: 2 seats removed
Before this adjustment, the total number of seats for NEET PG 2025 stood at 28,663. These seats cover Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS), Postgraduate Diploma, and DNB programmes under various quotas.
Choice Filling and Allotment Process
Candidates must log in to the MCC NEET PG official website to enter their preferred colleges and courses. Submissions and modifications of choices are permitted until the locking period concludes.
The MCC allocates seats based on several factors: candidates’ NEET PG rank, their selected college and course preferences, category, and applicable reservations. The MCC conducts NEET PG counselling for the All India Quota (AIQ) and for all 100% deemed and central university seats for the 2025 academic year.
High Course Fees Noted
In related news, MD course fees at eight colleges now exceed Rs 2 crore. Additionally, 313 courses across various institutions cost over Rs 1 crore for the NEET PG 2025 academic year.
