Modi Discusses Education, Skills in Post-Budget Webinar

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a post-budget webinar today, March 9, 2026. The focus is on education, skills, and university townships. The webinar discusses initiatives from the Union Budget 2026-27.

Budget Discussions Focus on Education and Skills

The webinar, titled ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas – Fulfilling Aspirations of People: Education, Skills and University Townships,’ is organized by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. It is in collaboration with the Department of Higher Education.

Key policymakers, industry leaders, academics, and students will participate. They will discuss strengthening India’s education and skills sectors. The creative economy is also a focal point.

AVGC Sector Initiatives

The Prime Minister’s special address will outline the vision for the AVGC-Creator Economy. This aims to merge creativity, culture, and technology. The goal is to drive growth and employment.

A breakout session focuses on ‘AVGC Content Creator Labs in Schools and Colleges.’ This initiative plans to establish labs in 15,000 schools. It will also set up labs in 500 higher educational institutions.

These labs aim to nurture creative talent. They will strengthen India’s Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, and Comics (AVGC) sector. The program seeks to build skilled creators.

Breakout Session Details

The AVGC Content Creator Labs session runs from 11:10 AM to 12:40 PM. Shri Chaitanya Chinchlikar of Whistling Woods International will moderate. Shri Sanjay Jaju, Secretary of the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, will give the keynote address.
