MHT CET 2026 Exams to be Held Twice Annually

Education Minister Chandrakant Patil announced a significant change for MHT CET 2026. The BTech and MBA entrance exams will now take place twice a year . This initiative provides Maharashtra students with multiple opportunities, aligning with national-level exams like JEE.

Maharashtra’s 11 CET boards will conduct MHT CET 2025 in April and May . For MHT CET 2026, the initial entrance exams for PCM, PCB, and MBA are scheduled for April . The second set of these exams will occur in May . Detailed schedules for these entrance exams will be announced soon.

Students appearing for these exams will not face a mandatory requirement to take both attempts. One exam is mandatory, while the second is optional. If a student attempts both exams, the higher score between the two will count for admission purposes.

Scholarship Approvals Integrated with Admissions

In a related development, Maharashtra students will receive scholarship approvals directly at admission through the integration of MahaDBT and CAP. This change eliminates the need for repeated scholarship renewals, streamlining the financial aid process for eligible candidates.

Students and parents should monitor official CET Cell announcements for updates on the final fee structure and detailed exam schedules for MHT CET 2025 and 2026.
