MHT CET 2026 Registration Soon: Dual Exams in April, May

The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra, will open registration for the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET 2026) in the first week of January . Proposed Fee Hike and Mock CAP Round

The Maharashtra Admission Regulating Authority (ARA) has proposed an increase in the MHT CET 2026 application fee. As per this proposal, candidates from the Open Category may be required to pay Rs 1,300 . Reserved Category candidates may face a fee of Rs 1,000 .

In a related development, the state has proposed conducting a mock Centralised Admission Process (CAP) round. This mock round would commence from the 2026–27 academic session. Its purpose is to help candidates become familiar with the admission procedure before the actual process begins.
