The North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS), Shillong, declared the Meghalaya NEET PG Round 2 provisional seat allotment results. Eleven candidates secured admission to MD, MS, and PG Diploma courses. Two seats, one each in Anatomy and Physiology, remain vacant after this round.
Provisionally selected candidates must report physically to NEIGRIHMS, Shillong, by December 30 . They are required to submit their willingness to accept the seat and complete all admission formalities. The admission fee is Rs 69,000 .
Seat Allotment Details
A total of 224 candidates were eligible for 11 seats under the North East Open category. Additionally, 36 candidates competed for one seat under the NEIGRIHMS pass-out category, according to the Meghalaya NEET PG merit list 2025.
Following the choices filled by shortlisted candidates, 10 admissions occurred under the North East Open category. One candidate was allotted a seat under the NEIGRIHMS pass-out category.
Vacant Seats Identified
One seat in the Department of Anatomy and one seat in the Department of Physiology remained unfilled. No candidate opted for these specific specializations during the second round of counselling.
Admission Process and Deadlines
Candidates must ensure payment of the admission fee of Rs 69,000 . Non-reporting or non-acceptance of allotted seats before the December 30 deadline will result in admission cancellation. Any such vacant seats will be filled in the upcoming third round of counselling.
All seat allotments are provisional. Final admission depends on the submission and verification of original documents and fulfillment of all admission criteria. The academic session is scheduled to commence on December 22, 2025 .
