The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) annually offers 75 internships to Indian citizens. This three-month program, running from April to June , includes a monthly stipend of INR 10,000 . Selected interns gain practical experience within the Ministry, with potential exposure to specific tasks assigned by a Head of Division.
The internship package covers a one-time round-trip economy air ticket to Delhi from the intern’s home state or university. Interns also have the possibility of visiting an Indian Mission abroad. While the program assists with travel, interns are responsible for their own housing and meals in Delhi.
