Maharashtra’s State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell) has revised the schedule for Maharashtra NEET PG 2025 Round 3 counselling. The updated dates follow a significant lowering of qualifying criteria for PG medical courses, now set at a zero percentile for some categories.
Registrations for the third counselling round began on January 19 . Candidates allotted seats in Round 2 can cancel their admission by January 21 . This cancellation incurs forfeiture of CAP application fees and the security deposit, but no additional penalty.
Revised NEET PG Cut-Offs Announced
The Maharashtra state counselling has adjusted its qualifying marks, aligning with the reduced NEET PG cut-offs. Candidates meeting these revised criteria must submit a new application, including the registration fee and security deposit.
| Category | NEET PG Cut-off Percentile | NEET PG Cut-off Marks |
|---|---|---|
| General (OPEN/EWS) | 7th percentile | 103 |
| General PwBD | 5th percentile | 90 |
| Reserved Category and PwBD | 0th percentile | -40 |
Who Can Register for Round 3?
- New candidates who did not register for previous CAP rounds can register.
- Candidates previously allotted seats in Round 2 but who did not join, report, or cancelled their allocation must re-register to participate in Round 3.
- Students now eligible under the revised cut-off criteria must also submit a fresh application. They need to pay both the registration fee and security deposit.
