Maharashtra HSC Physics Exam 2026: Key Topics, Paper Format

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) will conduct the Class 12 Physics exam on February 16, 2026 . The exam runs from 11 AM to 2 PM. The total marks for the Physics exam are 100. This includes a 70-mark theory paper and a 30-mark practical or internal assessment. The theory paper lasts three hours. It covers 16 units. Approximately 40% of the paper focuses on theory and definitions. Another 30% covers derivations, and the final 30% consists of numerical problems. There is no negative marking for multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
