Maharashtra’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Class 12 exams begin tomorrow, February 10, 2026. The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) will administer the exams. Approximately 1.5 million students are expected to appear.
Exam Schedule
The examination period runs from February 10 to March 11, 2026 . Exams will be conducted in two daily shifts. The first shift starts at 11:00 AM and concludes at 2:00 PM. The second shift begins at 3:00 PM and ends at 6:00 PM.
Important Instructions for Students
Students must arrive at their designated examination centers at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time. This ensures all pre-exam procedures are completed smoothly.
Required Documents
Candidates must carry two essential documents for entry. These are:
- The official MSBSHSE HSC Admit Card 2026 .
- A valid school ID card .
Exam Day Protocol
Strict adherence to examination rules is mandatory. All written answers must be completed using only blue or black ink pens . Electronic devices are prohibited. This includes smartphones, calculators, and smartwatches. Students should consult their admit cards and the official schedule for specific instructions related to their examination center.
Students may also carry clear ballpoint pens and a transparent pencil case, if permitted by the examination center guidelines.
