KSET 2025 PwD Document Verification Set for Dec 8, 9

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has scheduled document verification for candidates under the Persons with Disabilities (PwD) special category quota for the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) 2025. This mandatory verification will take place on December 8 and 9 . All eligible PwD candidates must attend this process at the dates and locations specifically published on the KEA’s official website.

KSET 2025 serves as an eligibility test for individuals seeking assistant professor positions in colleges and universities across Karnataka. Successful document verification is a critical step for PwD candidates to obtain their KSET 2025 eligibility certificate and secure their specific reservation benefits.

PwD Document Verification Requirements

Candidates must present a comprehensive set of original documents, along with photocopies, during the verification process. The KEA has specified the following items:

  • KSET 2025 Application Copy: A copy of the final application form submitted for KSET 2025 is required. This confirms registration details.
  • UDID Card: The original Unique Disability ID (UDID) card is mandatory. This card serves as official proof of disability status.
  • Candidate’s Photograph: One recent passport-sized photograph of the candidate. This will be used for official identification purposes.
  • Recognised Identity Card: Any one government-issued photo identity card is required. Accepted IDs include a Driving License, Passport, Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, or Election ID Card. This verifies personal identity.
  • Medical Certificate: A medical certificate specific to the candidate’s disability must be provided. This certificate must be issued by a competent doctor from the relevant medical field, practicing in a government hospital within Karnataka state. The certificate validates the nature and extent of the disability.
  • Hearing Impairment Reports: Candidates with hearing impairment have additional specific requirements. They must compulsorily provide a recent PTA (Pure Tone Audiometry) and BERA (Brainstem Evoked Response Audiometry) report. These reports must originate from one of the following specialized institutions: All India Institute of Speech and Hearing, Mysore; NIMHANS, Bangalore; Manipal Hospital; or Government Speech and Hearing Institute, Lingarajapuram, Bangalore.

Specifics for Scheduled Caste (SC) Candidates

The KEA has also outlined requirements for Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates regarding their KSET 2025 eligibility certificates. SC candidates must clearly specify their sub-category of reservation, choosing between A, B, or C.

To receive the KSET 2025 certificate under the SC reservation quota, candidates are mandated to submit a certificate. This document must be obtained from their respective Talsildar. Candidates failing to submit the Talsildar certificate during verification will not be issued the eligibility certificate. In such cases, the KEA will implement rules to select other eligible students to fill the slots reserved for the SC category.
