  • For Self-financing Medical Colleges, the option registration fee is Rs 1 lakh .

Fee concessions apply to certain categories. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OE (Other Eligible Communities) and other fee-concession–eligible groups will pay half of the respective amounts mentioned above.

Eligibility and Fee Requirements for Re-registration

Participation in Round 3 is open to several categories of candidates, including those who did not register options in Round 1 or Round 2. These candidates must complete a fresh registration process and pay the required option registration fee.

Additionally, candidates who were allotted seats in Round 1 or Round 2 but failed to take admission must also pay the option registration fee again for fresh registration in Round 3. This rule applies strictly to ensure fairness and commitment in the counselling process.

Post-Allotment Procedures

Candidates who receive a seat allotment in Round 3 must report to their designated college within the specified dates: January 14 to 17, 2025 . During this period, candidates must complete all admission formalities. This includes submitting all necessary original documents for verification and paying the applicable tuition fees to confirm their admission. Failure to report within this window may lead to forfeiture of the allotted seat.

Following candidate admissions, college authorities have a specific deadline to approve and submit the list of admitted candidates. Institutions must submit this information to the CEE through the Online Admission Management System (OAMS) by January 17, 2026, at 5 pm . This ensures official record-keeping and confirmation of student enrollments.

Important Rules and Penalties

The CEE has outlined strict rules regarding seat management in Round 3:

  • Candidates who vacate seats after 2 pm on January 9, 2025 , are not eligible to participate in Round 3 counselling. This deadline ensures finality in seat availability before the next round begins.
  • Failure to join a seat allotted during Round 3 will result in severe consequences. The candidate will forfeit their option registration fee. Furthermore, they will face disqualification from participating in any further counselling rounds, including stray vacancy allotments. This rule emphasizes the importance of commitment once a seat is accepted in Round 3.
