Kerala Board Results 2026: May 22 Expected Date, Gulf Exams Postponed

Kerala Education Minister V. Sivankutty announced on March 2, 2026, that Kerala Board exam results are expected by May 22, 2026 . Exams scheduled at Gulf centers are postponed indefinitely. SSLC exams set for March 5, and HSE exams for March 5, 6, and 7, 2026, will be rescheduled. New dates depend on conflict resolution.

Students unable to attend exams due to the postponement must submit an application. Applications should be sent to the Director of General Education. Students need to submit through their head teacher or principal. The General Education Department will review applications based on merit.

Exam Statistics Released

Statistics for HSE first-year students were shared. A total of 401,125 students are taking HSE first-year exams. Of these, 341,222 students will sit for improvement exams. For HSE second-year exams, 452,437 students will appear.

Evaluations for HSE exams are set to begin on April 6, 2026 . The department will use 89 evaluation centers. This marks the start of the grading process for the current academic year.

Gulf Exam Postponements

Exams in West Asia are affected by the current situation. The SSLC exam scheduled for March 5 is postponed. HSE exams on March 5, 6, and 7 are also postponed. These postponements follow a decision by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). CBSE also postponed its Class 10 and 12 exams in the region. They will assess the situation for exams from March 5 onward.
