KEA AYUSH PG 2025: Last Day to Register Nov 10, Bond Policy

Karnataka AYUSH PG 2025 counselling registration concludes tomorrow, November 10, at 4 pm . The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is managing applications for postgraduate AYUSH courses. Applicants who fail to join an allotted course face a bond penalty of Rs 50,000.

Candidates qualified in the All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIPIGET) 2025 are eligible to apply. Applications must be submitted through the official KEA website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. KEA conducts this counselling for admission to various postgraduate programs. These include Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, and Homoeopathy disciplines.

Application Process and Fees

Prospective students must complete their online registration before the deadline. The registration fee depends on the applicant’s category. General category candidates are required to pay Rs 2,000. For candidates belonging to Category-I, Scheduled Caste (SC), and Scheduled Tribe (ST), the fee is Rs 1,000.

After registration, candidates await further announcements from KEA. The Authority will release schedules for critical stages. These include option entry, mock allotment results, editing preferences, and the final seat allotment results. All updates will be published on the official KEA website.

Understanding the KEA Bond Policy

KEA enforces a stringent bond policy for all admitted candidates. This policy aims to ensure commitment to the chosen postgraduate course. All shortlisted candidates, with the exception of in-service candidates, must execute a bond. This bond requires submission on a Rs 100 stamped paper.

The bond legally obligates candidates. If a candidate leaves the course before its completion, they must pay Rs 50,000. Additionally, they are liable to return any stipendiary amount received during their enrollment. This applies to non-in-service candidates accepting a seat.

Provisions for In-Service Candidates

Special conditions apply to in-service candidates. If an in-service candidate receives an admission order during counselling but does not join the course, they face significant penalties. The KEA notice states such candidates become ineligible for any management quota seat or other seat for a three-year period. Furthermore, they will be subject to disciplinary action by the appropriate authorities.

Bond Forfeiture Schedule for Other Candidates

Non-in-service candidates incur penalties based on their cancellation timing. These structured forfeitures ensure accountability in the admission process.

Cancellation Stage Penalty Amount
After Round 1, before last date for Round 2 option entry Rs 10,000
After Round 2, up to one day before mop-up round Rs 10,000
After mop-up round Entire course fees + Rs 50,000 penalty

Important Reminders

Candidates must ensure all necessary documents undergo verification by November 10 . This document verification is mandatory to establish eligibility for the counselling process. The KEA emphasizes that the document verification deadline coincides with the final date for AYUSH PG course registration.

Applicants are advised to thoroughly review the official KEA information bulletin and notices. Adherence to all stated guidelines and deadlines is critical for successful admission. Regular monitoring of the KEA website for updates is essential.
