The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has initiated online registration for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET 2026). Eligibility Requirements for KCET 2026

Candidates must meet specific eligibility criteria to apply for KCET 2026. General category candidates generally need a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology.

They often require a 40% aggregate mark in the specified subjects. A key criterion for most seats involves a Karnataka domicile requirement. Revised Examination Schedule

The KCET 2026 engineering and pharmacy exams are now scheduled for May 25 and May 26 . This represents a change from the previously announced dates of April 23 and 24. The KEA will release the specific date for the language paper exam later.

The KEA will conduct KCET exams in two daily shifts. The morning session runs from 10:30 AM to 11:50 AM . The afternoon session is scheduled from 2:30 PM to 3:50 PM . Each paper will be 80 minutes in duration.

The KCET 2026 examination includes papers in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology. Candidates applying for engineering courses typically appear for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Those opting for pharmacy or agriculture-related courses may choose Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, or a combination including Mathematics.
