JKBOPEE B.Ed Admission: Final College Reporting Deadline Oct 14, 2025

SRINAGAR, J&K – Students provisionally selected for the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course in Jammu & Kashmir must report to their assigned colleges by October 14, 2025, at 3:00 PM . This final reporting deadline has been set by the Jammu & Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JKBOPEE).

The deadline follows a special counselling round held on October 10, 2025. During this session, eligible candidates reported to the JKBOPEE office in person to finalize their provisional admissions for the B.Ed program.

JKBOPEE has urged all educational institutions to facilitate a smooth admission process. Colleges are instructed to maintain open admission counters, including on public holidays, to accommodate students before the strict October 14 deadline.

Required Documents for B.Ed Admission

Candidates must bring specific original documents to their allotted college for verification and admission. These include:

  • Qualifying Marks Certificate: Proof of academic qualification (10+2+3 format).
  • Domicile Certificate: Mandatory for residents of UT of J&K or Ladakh. For Ladakh candidates, an ST certificate issued by the competent authority acts as the Domicile Certificate.
  • Category Certificate: Required if applying under a reserved category.
  • Date of Birth (DOB) Certificate: Official proof of age.
  • Other College-Specific Certificates: Any additional documents mandated by the individual college or institution as per their specific admission regulations.

Important Instructions for Colleges and Candidates

To maintain fairness and efficiency, JKBOPEE has issued several clear instructions:

  • College Accessibility: All heads of institutions and colleges must ensure their admission desks are operational on all days, including holidays, until the final reporting deadline. This is to prevent any delays for students completing their admissions.
  • Information Integrity: Candidates must provide accurate and complete information. Any individual found to have concealed or falsified details during the admission process will have their candidature cancelled immediately. The Board reserves the right to impose further fines or penalties.
  • Disability Assessment Protocol: For candidates with disabilities selected under open merit or reserved categories, colleges must refer them to the relevant Medical College. A special Medical Board will assess their disability benchmarks. Colleges are to act based on these recommendations. If a candidate does not meet the specified disability criteria, admission will be denied, and the college must promptly inform BOPEE.
  • Fee Structure Clarification: All questions regarding admission fees, payment schedules, and related financial matters should be directed exclusively to the specific college or institution where the candidate has been provisionally admitted. JKBOPEE will not address individual fee inquiries.
  • Reporting Admission Shortfalls: College heads must accurately record all admissions. Any vacancies or shortfalls in admitted candidates must be reported to BOPEE via email at coejakbopee@gmail.com or helpdeskjakbopee@gmail.com. This shortfall report is due by October 14, 2025, at 4:30 PM .
  • Adherence to Board Guidelines: All general terms and conditions detailed in the official Information Brochure, alongside any subsequent notifications or notices issued by the Board, remain fully applicable throughout the admission process.

Prospective B.Ed students are advised to contact their respective colleges promptly to ensure all admission requirements are met before the final deadline. Failure to report with complete documentation by the specified time may result in forfeiture of the provisional admission.
