Jharkhand Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar highlighted women’s education as essential for societal progress on Wednesday . He delivered this message at the 3rd Convocation of Jamshedpur Women’s University.
Governor’s Address to Graduates
Gangwar urged graduating students to base their lives on discipline, self-confidence, and continuous learning. He stated the convocation marked a new journey, not the end of education. He emphasized that success in any chosen field, such as education, judiciary, or science, must include ethical values and responsibilities. The Governor added that opportunities require hard work and determination.
Chancellor’s Priorities and Vision
As the university’s Chancellor, Gangwar outlined his institutional priorities. These included ensuring quality education, conducting regular classes, timely examinations, and prompt result publication.
He expressed a future vision for Jharkhand. Gangwar stated hope that women from Jharkhand will play a vital role in achieving a developed India by 2047 .
