Candidates can apply for admission to BSc Nursing and various undergraduate paramedical courses. The registration window, fee payment, and choice filling began November 14 and close on November 18 . WBJEEB has removed the mop-up round, reducing counselling to two rounds.
Registration and Application Fees
Interested candidates must register and submit an application fee of Rs 500 . This fee allows participation in the counselling process for both government and self-financing institutions in West Bengal. Exam Structure and Merit Ranks
WBJEEB conducted the JENPAS UG entrance exam in an OMR-based format. Paper 1 covered all paramedical courses. Paper 2 was exclusively for the Bachelor in Hospital Administration (BHA) course. The board published General Merit Ranks (GMR) for general courses and BHA Merit Ranks (BMR) based on candidate performance.
Eligibility and Admission Rules
Admission rules for BSc Nursing and other courses vary:
- For BSc Nursing in government colleges, only female candidates are eligible.
- A limited number of private colleges offer BSc Nursing courses to male candidates.
- For all other paramedical courses, both male and female candidates qualify for admission to government and private institutions.
Candidates allotted a seat must pay a non-refundable seat acceptance fee of Rs 1,000 . WBJEEB will not convert vacant reserved category seats into general seats during the online centralised counselling process.
Counselling Rounds and Procedure
JENPAS 2025 counselling will feature two rounds: allotment and upgradation. This marks a change from previous years, which included a third “mop-up” round. The non-refundable registration fee for the mop-up round was clarified by the board, though the round itself is now absent.
During choice filling, candidates must provide personal, academic, and bank account details. After registration, they will list their preferred colleges and courses in priority order. WBJEEB advises candidates to select maximum possible institutes and branches to increase their chances of securing an allotment.
