JEEP 2026 Registration Open: Apply by April 15 for Diploma Courses

The Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education Roorkee (UBTER) began registration for the Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnic (JEEP 2026) on January 15 . Candidates seeking admission to various polytechnic diploma courses can apply online or offline.

The application deadline for JEEP 2026 is April 15 . The examination serves as the gateway for admission to first and second-year diploma courses across UBTER-affiliated colleges.

Registration Process and Fees

Candidates can register online for JEEP 2026 via the official UBTER websites, ubter.in and ubterjeep.co.in. The online registration portal will remain active until April 15 .

An application fee is mandatory for registration. General category candidates must pay Rs 800 . Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates qualify for a reduced fee of Rs 500 .

Offline OMR application forms will be released on February 2 . Candidates can collect these forms directly from designated polytechnic institutes. Completed offline forms must be submitted in person by the final deadline of April 15 .

Courses and Affiliated Institutions

JEEP 2026 facilitates admissions into a range of diploma programs. These include engineering, technology, textile design, garment technology, fashion design, and pharmacy.

Admitted students will join various institutions affiliated with UBTER. This includes government, women’s, rural, aided, and private polytechnic colleges throughout Uttarakhand.

The entrance examination also accommodates candidates applying for direct entry into the second year of engineering diploma programs through lateral entry. These applicants must also qualify for the JEEP 2026 examination.

Group E and T Diploma in Engineering, Technology, Textile Design, Garment Technology, Fashion Design Candidates must have passed the high school examination or an equivalent qualification.
Group P Diploma in Pharmacy Candidates must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Mathematics, or an equivalent examination.
Group A Second Year of Diploma in Engineering (Lateral Entry) Candidates must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or a vocational/technical subject, OR completed a 2-year ITI course.
