JEE Mains 2026 Session 1 Results by Feb 16: NTA Scorecard, Key

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release JEE Mains 2026 Session 1 results by February 16 . Candidates can download their scorecards and the final answer key on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Accessing results requires the JEE Main application number and password or date of birth. The NTA administered Session 1 exams from January 21 to 29. Over 13 lakh students took the examination.

The results announcement will include the All India Rank (AIR) and a toppers list.

JEE Mains Purpose

JEE Mains is the gateway examination for admission to undergraduate engineering, architecture, and planning programs. These include BTech, BArch, and BPlanning degrees. Admissions are offered at National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and Government-funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs).

Next Steps for Qualifiers

Students who qualify for JEE Mains Session 1 can register for the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling. Only the top 2.5 lakh qualifiers will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2026. JEE Advanced is the entrance exam for admission to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).

  • Visit the NTA website: jeemain.nta.nic.in.
  • Click the link for “JEE Main 2026 Session 1 result.”
  • Enter application number and password or date of birth.
  • Click “Submit.”
  • The JEE Mains 2026 Session 1 scorecard will display.
  • Download and save the PDF file for future use.

JEE Mains Session 2

Candidates can improve their scores by appearing for JEE Main Session 2. The NTA is now accepting applications for Session 2. The application deadline is February 25 . The exams are scheduled from April 2 to April 9, with two shifts daily.
