Registration for JEE Main 2026 Session 2 closes on February 25 . Students can apply online for the engineering entrance exam. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the exam.
This is the second session of JEE Main for 2026 admissions. Candidates can register on the official NTA website: jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Exam Schedule
JEE Main 2026 Session 2 exams are scheduled from April 2 to April 9 . The exam will be held in two shifts daily. The morning shift runs from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The afternoon shift is from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Eligibility Criteria
Students who passed Class 12 or an equivalent exam in 2024 or 2025 are eligible. Current Class 12 students can also apply. There is no age limit to appear for JEE Main 2026.
Candidates who took the January session can re-appear in April. Their best score from both sessions will be considered for the final ranking. Applicants must use their previous login credentials to register for the April session.
Registration and Corrections
The application deadline is February 25 . Following registration, a correction window will open. This window is from February 27 to February 28 . Applicants can make changes during this period.
About JEE Main
JEE Main is the entrance exam for B.Tech, B.Arch, and B.Planning programs. It is a gateway for admissions to IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other engineering colleges nationwide. JEE Main also serves as a pathway to the JEE Advanced exam for IIT admissions.
Over 13 lakh students appeared for JEE Main 2026 Session 1. The results for Session 1 were declared on February 16. Approximately 2.5 lakh candidates will qualify for JEE Advanced.
