JEE Main 2026 Answer Key Challenge Deadline Today, Results Feb 12

The deadline to challenge the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 provisional answer key is today, February 6, 2026 . Candidates who took the exam can submit objections on the official National Testing Agency (NTA) website.

Answer Key Challenge Window Closes Today

Students have until 11:50 PM tonight to submit their challenges. This is the final opportunity to raise concerns about the provisional answer key released by the NTA. Candidates must upload supporting documents for each challenge filed.

The challenge window is open on the official JEE Main website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. A direct link is also available for students to access the challenge portal.

Steps to Submit Challenges

Candidates can follow these steps to submit their objections:

  • Visit the official JEE Main website.
  • Click on the link for ‘Challenge(s) regarding Answer Key’.
  • Log in using your Application Number and Password.
  • Select the option ‘Challenge(s) regarding Answer Key’.
  • Question IDs will be displayed sequentially.
  • Identify the ‘Correct Option’ provided by NTA.
  • To challenge, select one or more ‘Option IDs’ in the adjacent columns using checkboxes.
  • Upload supporting documents in a single PDF file.
  • After selecting options for Mathematics, Aptitude Test, or Planning (as applicable), scroll down and click ‘Save claim’.
  • Review challenged Option IDs.
  • Click ‘Save claim and Pay Fee finally’.
  • Choose a payment mode and pay the non-refundable processing fee.

Results Expected February 12

The NTA will review all submitted challenges. If objections are found valid, the final answer key will be revised. The JEE Main 2026 Session 1 results will be prepared and announced based on this final answer key. The results are scheduled for release on February 12, 2026 .
