The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) began its Class 10 and 12 board examinations on February 3, 2026 . Exams are taking place at designated centers across the state. Class 10 theory papers are scheduled for the morning shift. Class 12 exams will occur in the afternoon shift.
Exam Day Guidelines and Instructions
Students must present a printed copy of their admit card for verification at the exam center. Entry without a school uniform is prohibited. A strict code of conduct is enforced for a smooth examination process. Candidates are advised to remain calm.
Arrive at the test center at least 45 minutes before the scheduled start time. Plan travel accordingly based on your shift. Students must wear their school uniform and carry their school ID card . No student will be permitted to take the exam without their admit card.
Upon arrival, verify your assigned seat and room number. After question paper distribution, candidates receive 15 minutes to read the paper. Use this time effectively to plan your answers.
Bringing mobile phones, tablets, or other prohibited items into the exam hall is strictly forbidden. Violations will result in severe penalties.
