The initiative is a joint effort by the Ministry of Panchayati Raj, Ministry of Education, and Ministry of Tribal Affairs.
The launch event will unveil a new Training Module on Model Youth Gram Sabha and its dedicated MYGS Portal. The Ministry of Panchayati Raj stated this initiative promotes participatory local governance. It will roll out across more than 1,000 schools nationwide. Minister of State for Panchayati Raj, S.P. Singh Baghel, and Minister of State for Tribal Affairs, Durgadas Uikey, will attend the event.
MY Bharat Platform Registers 2 Crore Youth
Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat), a digital platform for youth, has recorded over 2 crore registrations. This milestone makes it one of India’s largest youth engagement platforms. Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the initiative on October 31, 2023 , as a flagship program of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
MY Bharat targets young citizens aged 15 to 29 years. It offers opportunities in learning, community service, and leadership development. Union Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya and Minister of State Raksha Nikhil Khadse highlighted this achievement. Key features include ‘Volunteer for Bharat’ and the ‘Experiential Learning Programme’. The platform also provides Public Profiles and a CV Builder. MY Bharat collaborates with over 16,000 youth clubs and 60,000 institutional partners, contributing to the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047.
AI Translation Tools Boost Hindi in Science Communication
Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh confirmed that AI-driven translation tools are expanding the reach of Hindi scientific content across India. Speaking at a Hindi Advisory Committee meeting, Dr. Singh stressed Hindi’s importance as a unifying language for national scientific growth.
He urged all government ministries to increase Hindi usage and ensure their websites are accessible in Hindi. Dr. Singh highlighted that integrating AI breaks down linguistic barriers in science and technology communication. He also emphasized promoting Hindi alongside regional languages to reflect India’s linguistic diversity. Awards will be given to employees excelling in Hindi use. The meeting further suggested leveraging social media to promote Hindi and recognizing its contributors.

Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel served as India’s first Information and Broadcasting Minister. The Sardar Patel Memorial lecture series began in 1955.
