Admissions Overview
The application portal is open for foreign nationals seeking admission for the academic year 2026-27. This includes individuals holding Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) or Person of Indian Origin (PIO) cards. Applications must be submitted by 4 PM on March 30, 2026.
Application Requirements
Applicants must provide a statement on their English language proficiency. They also need to name two referees who will submit recommendation letters. These referees will comment on the applicant’s aptitude, field proficiency, research potential, and English communication skills.
Admission requirements may include scores from standardized tests. These can be national tests like Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET), or DST INSPIRE. International test scores such as Graduate Records Examination (GRE) and Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) are also considered.
Additionally, proof of English language proficiency through tests like TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC, OPI, OPIC, or Cambridge English Examination may be required.
Selection Process
The final admission decision will be based on interview performance. Candidates with strong academic records will be invited for interviews. These interviews will be conducted by a committee of faculty members from the relevant academic discipline.
