Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility extends to non-Indian nationals. This includes individuals holding Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) or Person of Indian Origin (PIO) cards.
Application Requirements
Applicants must submit a statement of English proficiency. They must also provide names of two referees. These referees will provide recommendation letters. The referees will comment on a candidate’s aptitude, field proficiency, research potential, independent thinking, and English skills.
Academic Scores and Proficiency Tests
For PhD and PG programs, candidates may need to submit scores from national entrance exams. These include Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET), or DST INSPIRE.
International examination scores are also accepted. These include Graduate Records Examination (GRE) and Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT). Applicants must also submit scores from English language proficiency tests. Accepted tests include TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC, OPI, OPIC, or Cambridge English Examination.
Selection Process
Admission is based on interview performance. Candidates with strong academic records will be invited for interviews. The interviews will be conducted by a committee of faculty members from the relevant discipline.
