Eligibility for PhD and PG programs may require scores from national entrance examinations. These include the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET), or DST INSPIRE.

Scores from international standardized tests are also considered. These include the Graduate Records Examination (GRE) and Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT).

English language proficiency scores from tests like TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC, OPI, OPIC, or Cambridge English Examinations are mandatory.

Selection Criteria

IIT Delhi will select candidates based on their performance in an interview. Applicants with strong academic records will be invited to interview with a faculty committee from their chosen discipline. The interview committee will evaluate the candidate’s suitability for the program.
