Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) is accepting applications from international students for its PhD and Postgraduate (PG) programs. Eligibility Criteria
Applications are open to non-Indian nationals. This includes individuals holding Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) or Person of Indian Origin (PIO) cards. All eligible candidates must demonstrate English proficiency. Applicants must also provide the names of two referees who will submit recommendation letters.

Admission Requirements and Process
Candidates may need to submit scores from standardized tests. These include Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET), or DST INSPIRE. For PhD and PG programs at IIT Delhi, scores from international examinations like Graduate Records Examination (GRE) and Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) are also considered.
English language proficiency must be proven through scores from tests such as TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC, OPI, OPIC, or the Cambridge English Examination. IIT Delhi will base admission decisions on interview performance.
Candidates with strong academic records will be invited for an interview. The interview panel will consist of faculty members from the relevant academic discipline. This process aims to evaluate candidates’ suitability for advanced study and research at IIT Delhi.
