Eligibility and Requirements

Academic and Language Proficiency

Accepted Indian entrance exams include the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET), and DST INSPIRE.
International examination scores such as Graduate Records Examination (GRE) and Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) are also accepted. English language proficiency must be demonstrated through tests like TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC, OPI, OPIC, or Cambridge English Examination.
Admission Process
IIT Delhi will base admissions on candidate performance during an interview. Students with strong academic records will receive an invitation. The interview panel will consist of faculty members from the relevant discipline.
