Admission Details
The application portal is open for foreign nationals, including those holding Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) or Person of Indian Origin (PIO) cards. Applications must be submitted by 4 PM on March 30, 2026. The programs are for the 2026-27 academic year.
Applicants must provide a statement of English proficiency. They also need to list two referees who will submit recommendation letters. These referees will comment on the applicant’s aptitude, field proficiency, research potential, independent thinking, and English language skills.
Eligibility and Requirements
To be eligible for PhD and PG programs, candidates may need to submit scores from national examinations. These include Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET), or DST INSPIRE.
Scores from international tests like the Graduate Records Examination (GRE) and Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) are also accepted. Additionally, applicants must submit scores from English language proficiency tests. Accepted tests include TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC, OPI, OPIC, and Cambridge English Examination.
Selection Process
Admission will be based on an interview. Candidates with strong academic records will be invited to an interview. A committee of faculty members from the relevant discipline will conduct the interview.
