Eligibility Criteria
Applications are open to foreign nationals. This includes individuals holding Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) or Person of Indian Origin (PIO) cards. Applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency. They need to provide a statement of proficiency and names of two referees for recommendation letters.
Admission Requirements
Referees will evaluate candidates on aptitude, field proficiency, research potential, independent thinking, and English communication skills. IIT Delhi may require scores from standardized tests. These include GATE, CSIR, UGC NET, or DST INSPIRE for PhD and PG programs.
International tests like GRE and GMAT are also considered. English proficiency test scores are mandatory. Accepted tests include TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC, OPI, OPIC, and Cambridge English Examination, among others.
Selection Process
Admission decisions are based on interview performance. Candidates with strong academic records will be invited for interviews. The interviews will be conducted by a committee of faculty members from the relevant disciplines.
