Eligibility Criteria
Applications are open to non-Indian nationals. This includes individuals holding Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) or Person of Indian Origin (PIO) cards. All applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency. This can be done through a self-declaration.
Application Requirements
Applicants must submit the names of two referees. These referees will provide recommendation letters. The referees will comment on the candidate’s aptitude, field proficiency, research potential, independent thinking, and English skills.
Academic and Language Proficiency
Candidates may need to submit scores from standardized tests. Accepted tests include Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET), and DST INSPIRE. International tests like Graduate Records Examination (GRE) and Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) are also considered.
English language proficiency scores are required. Accepted tests include TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC, OPI, OPIC, and Cambridge English Examination. Other recognized language tests are also accepted.
Admission Process
Admission decisions are based on interview performance. Candidates with strong academic records will be invited for an interview. The interview panel will consist of faculty members from the relevant academic discipline.
