Eligibility Criteria
Applications are open to non-Indian nationals. This includes individuals holding Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) or Person of Indian Origin (PIO) cards. Candidates must declare their English proficiency. They also need to provide contact information for two referees who will submit recommendation letters.
Admission Requirements
Referees will evaluate candidates on their aptitude, field-specific knowledge, research potential, independent thinking, and English communication skills. IIT Delhi may require scores from national entrance exams like GATE, CSIR, UGC NET, or DST INSPIRE for PhD and PG admissions.
International standardized test scores are also considered. These include Graduate Records Examination (GRE) and Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT). Proof of English language proficiency is mandatory. Accepted tests include TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC, OPI, OPIC, and Cambridge English Examination.
Selection Process
The final selection for the PhD and PG courses will be based on performance in an interview. Candidates with strong academic records will be invited to interview with a faculty committee from their chosen discipline.
