The application window closes at 4:00 PM on March 30, 2026 . Eligibility extends to non-Indian nationals. This includes individuals holding Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) or Person of Indian Origin (PIO) cards.
Application Requirements
Applicants must submit a statement of English proficiency. They also need to provide names of two referees. These referees will provide recommendation letters. The notification states referees will comment on a candidate’s aptitude, field proficiency, research potential, and English skills.
Academic Qualifications and Tests
Eligibility for PhD and PG programs may require scores from specific tests. These include the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). Other recognized tests are Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET).
